Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Sayloft at sayloft.com, including the questionnaire, the web app, lessons, worksheets, AI practice and the AI coach (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Sayloft helps you practice everyday and work communication through short lessons, editable worksheets, AI role-play practice with feedback and an AI coach. It works in your browser on phone, tablet or computer.
The Service is educational. It is not therapy, medical, psychological, legal or career advice, and it does not guarantee any particular result. Progress depends on your own practice.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy a plan.
- Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Use the email you used at checkout when you create your account so your purchase is linked to it.
4. Plans, payment and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the regular price for the plan's period (every 4, 12 or 48 weeks) until you cancel. An introductory price, when offered, applies to the first period only and is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Full details — including how to cancel — are in the Subscription policy.
5. AI features
AI practice partners, feedback and the AI coach generate responses automatically. They can be wrong or incomplete; use your own judgment before acting on them. Do not enter sensitive personal information (for example health, financial or other people's private details) into practice or coach conversations. Fair-use limits apply to AI features to keep the Service available for everyone.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to break or overload it, or access it by automated means.
- Do not use the AI features to create unlawful, harassing or harmful content.
- Do not copy, resell or redistribute lessons, worksheets or other materials beyond personal use.
7. Content and ownership
We own the Service and its materials. You keep ownership of what you write in worksheets and practice sessions and grant us the limited rights needed to store it and provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and ending the Service
We may update the Service and these terms. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we will tell you in advance by email or in the app. You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
